About Barb's Barn

It’s a great day at Barb’s Barn! Our small family-run mini-farm is located on 10 acres in East Manatee County. We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, (when the roosters aren't having a crowing contest) of country living. Our farm family currently include horses, ponies, pot-bellied pigs, bunnies, mini-donkeys, lots of ducks and chickens, and the dogs and cats. Because many kids never have the opportunity to be around farm animals, it is with pleasure that we can provide them with this unique experience of interacting with, learning about, and having fun playing with the variety of animals that live here on the farm. All our furred, feathered, pawed, clawed, and hoofed friends always make each day interesting, fun, and educational. It’s never dull around here! We are pretty sure your kids will also find it a fun and exciting experience as well.
