Lessons

Beginner riding lessons are available for the pony or horse lover who has had very limited experience around ponies or horses. Before teaching the art of riding, we start with the fundamentals: being comfortable, yet safe, around the pony or horse, grooming, leading, tacking up, and responsibility. We don't believe teaching a child to ride without this basic knowledge is . . . well, good "horse sense". Children will learn at a different pace, some will be able to take the reins quickly, for others, it will take a little longer. That's okay, as long as they are having fun and learning something about their equine friend.

Some children may need the therapy that being around a horse or pony offers. You would be amazed at the calming effects brushing, petting, and just talking to a horse can have on a child.
